To me, being redeemed means I am under new management! Jesus paid a debt that He didn't owe because I owed a debt I couldn't pay. Everyday when I wake up I am reminded of what Christ did for me. This joy I have would not be so if I had not been redeemed. Thank you Lord for buying me back, for taking ownership of me, and making me anew!I am Redeemed from the hand of the enemy and the consequences of my sins! And when the enemy tried to convince God that I wasn't worth saving, that I was imperfect and faulty, God said "SO"...She's mine!! I serve an awesome God, worthy of all praise, all honor, and all glory!!!
I have been set free, Its amazing, there was a time where I felt I needed to hide who I was, but GOD let me know that Im just right, made in HIS image. the enemy wanted me to hide in the darkness but GOD pulled me into HIS marvelous light. I live to boast in the LORD and praise HIS name, so the enemy will know who has all power, he thought he had me but GOD had a plan. I am redeemed from darkness!
Redeemed means that I'm not worthless, it means that I'm worthy! I'm worthy of His love, protection and grace. That I am worthy to have a purpose, a plan and a destiny to do His work! His scars mean that I was worth death and life. I was given freedom from the slavery of darkness and given a chance to be the light for others to be free from that darkness. I am grateful and honored to be redeemed, to be given a second chance I didn't deserve. I thank God for all that He has done, not just for me but all of His people. I feel lucky to serve a God like that!
