Caleb? Where are you?

It has been a while since we've done this, but I wanted to take some time to get your feedback and takeaways from Sunday's message and start of the new series, Well Able!

We talked about Caleb's report to Moses about the Promised Land and his affirmation as he stated, we are well able to overcome! Indeed, that is the Word for you in the situations that you're facing; you are well able to overcome and to possess your promise!

I look forward to hearing what you took away from Sunday's message. It was fun to deliver it to you all - now, allow me the fun of hearing what you got out of it! Leave a comment, you're well able to do so!

  1. It was a great message, many times I find myself in a place where things seem overwhelming and I don't try to accomplish the goal at hand because it looks too hard or someone told me I couldn't do it.

I really needed this, because know I am encouraged that I am well able. I can tell all the negativity, doubt, and discouragement in my life to "SHUT UP". The devil is a lie. Caleb was a really great example of how to handle situations that appear to be too tough for us but are no match for GOD. Greater is HE that is in me, than he that is in the world.

Thank you for that message pastor!

  2. I'm Well Able!! What a mighty declaration! This story was amazing and showed how people can have proof of their promise but still doubt the promise. But I liked how Caleb was not concerned with what the people had to say. The Word said "then Caleb quieted the crowd", in other words, then Capable quieted all the negativity! O God, I was so empowered by this Word. When there are too many voices in my ear, I will be like Caleb and quiet the crowd, then declare that I am Well Able to do what God told me I could do. Even as God was speaking through you, negative thoughts began to quiet! I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me!! I will possess every promise God has given me! Thank you Pastor for being our Caleb and allowing God to encourage, empower, and motivate His people.

  3. Well Able is going to be an awesome series! A few a days ago I was feeling discouraged because I felt that there are many things I want to do in life and for God, but I felt that I do not have what it takes. The things I picture myself doing are bigger than me and larger than the things I ever seen done.
The message on Sunday helped me to see that it does not matter how big the giant is I have the skill to destroy the obstacle and accomplish my goals! Even when everyone around magnifies the situation or the problem I have to be the Caleb in the crowd and shout shut up, God said it will be mine and I believe it will happen!
