Glory to Glory!

Yesterday's service was a special time for me. The glory of the Lord came in the room in an amazing way. I didn't want to leave it! So, I took it with me.

It was amazing what was happening - I believe it started with a dynamic time of praise and worship - we gave Him glory! The message was about thankfulness and gratitude. When we think - we thank! Then, we brought the message alive together as we joined together to give a thanks offering to God for the great things He has done. We continued to give Him glory to the point that He gave us HIS glory! Then, we continued the process by releasing even more glory back to Him - and, what was the response - thicker, deeper, heavier glory released from Him upon us and into us.

Now, as the week continues, it is our job to allow the glory (light, beauty, splendor) that He deposited into us to manifest in our daily lives. Let His light shine through us so that people are drawn to Him! Maybe, this is how He takes us from Glory to Glory!

So, my prayer continues as the Sunday song stated, "Let your glory fall on us - Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain!" Now, let's Rise and Go!

  1. The glory was so heavy in the house yesterday. I thank God for His divine visitation to Victory Life. I woke up this morning reminding Him of His goodness, mercy, and kindness to me. Where would I be without His love? Like you said pastor when we think and thank. When I think of the goodness of Jesusand all He's done for me, my very being has an automated response and my soul begins to cry out "Hallelujah"!!

  3. Pastor i agree! God brought His Glory, and we experience not only a lively praise, intimate worship, and life-changing word but also very light and slpendor of our King Jesus!

The Holy Spirit rained on us a blessing! I feel refreshed and happy! I love God and I love how the V-Life experience is bringing me closer to God and into His presence.

I'm going to Rise and Go, while singing Let your glory fall on us- Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain!!!

  5. It is Tuesday and I am still feeling God's presence and His glory on me from Sunday. On Sunday I felt like we all sent up such a heart felt praise to the point that our praise left earth, reached heaven, joined the angels and touched God. We touched God's heart and He heard our praise's to Him and said "I hear my people calling me. I will go down and be with them." We got God's attention on Sunday and He came in the building. The difference about this Sunday's experience is that I feel like a lot of people took God's glory with them instead of just leaving it in the building. I felt as though God put another part of Himself in me. I am so grateful for God's glory and I am so grateful that we touched God's heart this past Sunday.

  6. Ah yes! Sunday was quite amazing...God is amazing. I'm thankful that so many people were able to experience the glory of God. It's something when you take a chance and step out on faith and give God genuine worship. When you don't worry about feeling embarrassed or awkward because you are lifting your hands and speaking to the Lord. It releases heavenly things to touch us on Earth!

Lady C - yes, people pushed beyond comfort zones and pressed into His presence! What an experience!

  8. YES! Sunday was outstanding! Something in the message hit me particularly hard... Christ responded to the request of the 10 lepers by giving them an assignment... probably not what they were expecting, but they found their healing(answer) when they obeyed.

THANK YOU LORD FOR THAT REVELATION!!! I needed to know that about how You communicate.

That was definitely a breakthrough for me!

  9. Yessir Bro. Jake! We sometimes feel like He must not have been paying attention to what we asked, because His response seemingly has nothing to do with our request... but, good news... He's up to something and He moves in our movement!

  10. Something else very interesting... Sis. Leslie shared a revelation she pulled from the message, which came up in my studies, but I didn't get to it Sunday. All 10 of them received physical healing, but the 1 who came back - it says that He was made WHOLE! He received physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. Lord make us new and make us whole!

  11. Yes, that's good. You get out of it what you put into it. God went the extra mile for the one person who returned to show appreciation.

  12. I can relate to what Bro. Jake wrote. In the last year I have been seeking God about a lot of different things and I promise you that God has put me on more assignments than He has answered my questions. The messege on Sunday helped me to know that I am on the right track.

  14. The message made me think of the friends and family I used to hang around as well as the situations or foolishness(what we were passionate about) we were involved in and how I had to do something different to get to where I needed to be in order to receive what I was longing for that I could not have gotten if I would have stayed where I was.
What if the Israelites had stayed in Egypt?
If the centurian had stayed home?
If Miphibosheth would have stayed where he was could he have sat at the royal table?
If the 1 had remained with the 10 would he have been made whole?
Would we have experienced sunday if we were still living our yesterdays?
These are just some of the questions I gained out of the past few weeks.
I also think about if I am thirsty the water is there, I just got to go get some.
I know if I was where I was I wouldn't be where I am or who I am.
